The executive team at Equinom has a history of working in the tomato pre-breeding industry, as well as founding their own flower breeding company. They have also worked as research assistants and been a part of the Long Island Food Council. Most recently, they have held positions in business development and management in North America for various companies. Their educational backgrounds are in genetics and plant breeding from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
