Alexander Lewendon

Alexander Lewendon has extensive experience in the energy sector, having worked for Equinor as a Lead Analyst since May 2018, where responsibilities included managing the gas portfolio team and completing a leadership development program. Prior to Equinor, Alexander held various positions at Statoil, including Principal Consultant for Portfolio Optimisation, where notable achievements included financial optimisation of the NW European Gas Portfolio and leading the development of a liquidity risk analysis tool. Alexander's career also encompasses roles in trading and market analysis, showcasing skills in contract negotiation, capacity trading, and economic modelling. Earlier experience includes positions at El Paso Europe and BG Group, where foundational knowledge in gas deal origination and market analysis was gained. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Durham University.
