Atle Sivertsen

Atle Sivertsen has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President of Drilling and Wells at Equinor, overseeing operations for the Gullfaks and Snorre fields. Since joining Equinor in May 2018, Atle has held various leadership roles focused on safety, strategy, digitalization, and commercial aspects within mature fields. Previous positions include Lead Drilling Engineer at Statoil, where Atle led engineering teams for the Statfjord Late Life wells, and roles in Baker Hughes focusing on reliability and drilling optimization. Atle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a specialization in Industrial Asset Management from the University of Stavanger.
