Farid Babayev

Farid Babayev is a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Equinor, specializing in reservoir management and production forecasting for oil and gas fields, with a focus on the Oseberg and Gullfaks fields. Babayev has extensive experience in developing Power BI dashboards for drilling KPIs and has previously worked at bp, where responsibilities included reservoir management and well planning activities for the ACG field. Initial engineering experience includes internships at Total, bp, Halliburton, and SOCAR, where various projects focused on integrated asset modeling, drilling fluid preparations, and mechanistic modeling. Farid Babayev holds a Master’s Degree in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering from IFP School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
