Jennifer Sampson

Jennifer Sampson is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and ontology engineering. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Equinor since March 2010, Jennifer specializes in natural language processing technologies across various projects, including safety and drilling. Previously, Jennifer held the position of Senior Ontology Engineer at Epsis, where project management for the EnvironmentWeb project focused on RFID ontology for the Norwegian oil industry was a key responsibility. Earlier career roles include researcher at NICTA, research fellow at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and associate lecturer at the University of Melbourne. Jennifer's foundational experience includes consultancy at Accenture and CDP - Cognos in New Zealand. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, an MBS in Information Systems from Massey University, and a Bachelor of Business Studies with First Class Honors in Information Systems from Massey University.
