Knut S. Seim

Lead Researcher at Equinor

Knut S. Seim is an accomplished researcher specializing in offshore wind solutions and marine hydrodynamics. Currently serving as Lead Researcher at Equinor since May 2018, Knut previously held the role of Principal Researcher at Statoil from October 2007 to May 2018, where contributions focused on platform technology and marine hydrodynamics. Earlier experience includes a position as a Reservoir Engineer at Norsk Hydro, from January 2006 to October 2007, with a focus on reservoir modeling and simulation. Academically, Knut holds a PhD in Marine Hydrodynamics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), a Master's degree in Physical Oceanography from the University of Bergen, and attended The University Centre in Svalbard and the University of Oslo.
