Knut Vidar Larssen

Knut Vidar Larssen is an accomplished professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President Operations for the Snøhvit Johan Castberg Barents at Equinor since November 2017. Larssen has held various leadership roles, including Vice President for Operations at Norne, Aasta Hansteen, and the deep water area, as well as operational and maintenance leadership for the Snøhvit asset. Prior to Equinor, Larssen worked at Statoil, holding several key positions including Controller for Finance and Control and Senior Analyst. Additional experience includes leadership roles at KUPA and Pro Barents AS. Larssen's educational background includes an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Master of Science in International Business Management from Handelshøyskolen i Bodø.
