Thanh Dao

Thanh Dao is a Principal Reservoir Engineer and Well Performance Team Lead at Equinor and Statoil since August 2016, focusing on optimizing the Eagle Ford asset's value through enhancements in well performance and reserves forecasting. Prior experience includes roles at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where Thanh held positions such as Staff Reservoir Engineer and Staff Drilling Engineer, leading efforts in competitor intelligence, acquisition evaluations, and drilling operations, achieving significant cost reductions. Earlier experience at ExxonMobil involved field development for gas and oil plays, along with producing key forecasts and plans. Thanh Dao holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
