Wedson Oliveira Dias

Wedson Oliveira Dias has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Control Room Operator (CRO) at Equinor since March 2020, where responsibilities include operations on the WHP-B platform in Brazil. Previously, Wedson worked at SBM Offshore from September 2012 to March 2020 as a Central Control Room Operator on the FPSO Cidade de Maricá, and participated in the commissioning team for the ship. Additional roles at SBM included Senior Production Operator and Control Room Operator during the decommissioning phase of the Marlim Sul platform and at the FPSO Frade. Wedson's earlier experience includes being a Production Operator at MODEC International LLC and a Field Specialist Technician at Schlumberger. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Renewable Energies and a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, complemented by a Technical degree in Electromechanics.
