Luis Plancarte

Luis Plancarte has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Luis currently works at Equinox Gold Corp. as the Director of Community Relations and Social Responsibility for their US operations. Luis previously held the position of Manager of Community Relations and Social Responsibility at the same company. Prior to their time at Equinox Gold, Luis served as a County Supervisor for the Second District at the County of Imperial, California. Luis has also worked as an Executive Coach, Life Coach, Trainer, and Consultant at Purpose-Coaching, where they specialized in leadership coaching and life transition coaching. Luis has also held various roles at New Gold, including Community Relations Manager, Manager of HR, Community Relations and Social Responsibility, and Community Relations Manager at Western Mesquite Mines, Inc. Luis also served as the Manager of Human Resources and Community Relations at Western Goldfields, Inc. and worked as a Projects Manager at Liberty Energy Resources Inc. Additionally, Luis owned and operated an insurance agency as an Independent Insurance Agent for Allstate Insurance. Luis began their career as a General Manager at Airgas, Inc., where they oversaw multiple facilities and played a key role in acquisitions and consolidations. Throughout their career, Luis has demonstrated their expertise in community relations, social responsibility, coaching, and management.

Luis Plancarte attended the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2005, where they received a degree in Business Management with a focus in Management. Luis then went on to UC San Diego from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Certificate in Adult Education & Program Administration. In 2011 to 2013, they completed the Coaching Certification Program at The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. Additionally, in 2004, they briefly attended the University of Nevada, Reno to study Entrepreneurial Business Plan Writing & Development.
