Paul Belair, MBA, BASc, CRSP, CHSC has over two decades of work experience in health, safety, and environment management roles. Paul is currently the Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment at Equinox Gold Corp., a Canadian mining company operating multiple gold mines in North and South America. Previously, they served as the Director of Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment at Ledcor, a diversified construction company with projects across North America. Prior to that, Paul held the position of Director of Health and Safety at New Gold Inc., an intermediate gold mining company. Paul has also worked as the Director of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality at Keller Canada, a leading piling/foundation organization, and as the Director of Health, Safety, Environment, and Technical Training at EPCOR, a utility company. Additionally, they have experience in health and safety management roles at Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Stations, Comstock Canada Ltd., PSC, and Maple Leaf Foods Inc. Paul's expertise lies in developing and implementing occupational health and safety programs in various industries.

Paul Belair has an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Paul also holds a BASc in Technology Management from Bemidji State University. In addition, Paul has a Licensed Paralegal certification from the Law Society of Upper Canada. Furthermore, they have a Diploma in Safety Engineering Technology and a Certificate in Occupational Hygiene and Safety Program Management, both from Humber College. Paul is also a Certified Health and Safety Consultant by the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, and they are a Canadian Registered Safety Professional from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.
