Pedro Luis Orsetti Rossi PhD P.Eng.

Pedro Luis Orsetti Rossi has extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles in the aluminum industry. Pedro Luis started their career in 1987 at CVG Industria Venezolana de Aluminio, C.A. (CVG Venalum), where they served as the Strategic Projects Division Chief and R&D Senior Research Engineer until 2011. In this role, they managed and executed projects, specializing in casting, solidification, and thermomechanical processing of aluminum alloys. Pedro then joined EPCMC Sin Fronteras, C.A. in 2011, initially as a Consultant for the Industry and later as the Director President. Pedro Luis then worked for Sural Quebec & Sural Laminated Products Canada from 2013 to 2019, serving as the Technical & Technology Manager. In 2017, they became the Plant Manager at Sural Quebec (Aluminium hot rolling mill). Pedro's leadership experience continued at Sural Laminated Products Canada in 2019, where they served as the Plant Manager. Most recently, they joined Equispheres Inc. in 2020 as the Vice President of Operations.

Pedro Luis Orsetti Rossi Ph.D. P.Eng. began their education in 1983 at Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica 'Antonio José de Sucre,' earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1988. Pedro Luis then pursued further studies at The University of Sheffield, where they obtained a Master's degree in Advanced Metallurgy from 1991 to 1992. Pedro continued their education at The University of Sheffield, specializing in Thermomechanical processing of Aluminium Alloys, and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from 1992 to 1995.
