Gabriela Lopez-Barry is the Equitable Charter Implementation Program Manager at Equitable Food Initiative, responsible for implementing a framework to ensure accountability and respect within the fresh produce and flower industries. Previously, Gabriela served as Multi-Brand Marketing Manager for VALRHONA, where efforts focused on launching and managing a new Latin American chocolate brand nationally. Experience also includes roles as Executive Assistant & Operations Manager at Slow Food USA, Assistant Project Manager & Executive Assistant for the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Research Assistant & Program Coordinator at MICAIA Foundation, and Research Assistant for the Organization of American States. Gabriela holds a Master's degree in Food, Culture and Communications from Universita degli Studi di Scienze Gastronomiche and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and Latin American Studies from The University of British Columbia.
