Trevor Witt

Trevor Witt, AALU, currently serves as the Director of Large Case Underwriting at Equitable, a position held since November 2024. Previously, as Chief Underwriter (Outside of Quebec) at Desjardins from April 2023 to November 2024, Trevor focused on modernizing underwriting guidelines, led the implementation of new operational models, and developed industry-leading initiatives such as a High Networth Model and Charitable giving guidelines. Trevor's career also includes significant roles at Sun Life, Great-West Life, and London Life, where Trevor developed underwriting practices, mentored teams, and addressed complex cases for large and high-profile clients. With over two decades in the underwriting field, Trevor has consistently challenged the status quo to improve processes and team capabilities.
