Rebecca Malanga

Rebecca Malanga is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Variable Product Counsel at Equitable since June 2020, Rebecca provides legal support for variable insurance products and oversees SEC registration statements. Prior to this, Rebecca worked as a Consulting Attorney at USAA, focusing on annuities and life insurance legal advice, and held multiple roles at Prudential Financial, including Chief of Staff to the COO and Director of Corporate Counsel for Annuities Operations Law and Product Law. Rebecca's earlier experience includes positions at Greenberg & Co. and Doctor's Associates, Inc., where legal research and compliance evaluation were key responsibilities. Rebecca holds a JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a BA in English from the University of Hartford.
