Leon Sloutski

Leon Sloutski has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate tax. Leon started their career as a Senior Tax Accountant at Aon, where they prepared and reviewed quarterly and annual provisions for insurance subsidiaries. Leon also handled federal income tax returns for multi-billion dollar insurance companies. After that, they joined HSBC Global Banking and Markets as an AVP - Corporate Tax Manager - Insurance. There, they were responsible for quarterly tax reporting and analysis of book-to-tax balance sheet temporary differences. Leon then worked at Ryerson, where their responsibilities included Global Effective Tax Rate analysis, monthly and quarterly tax provisions, and the implementation of OneSource system for provision calculations. Most recently, they worked at CSC Corptax as a Team Manager, where they were responsible for research, development, and compliance calculations related to the SSAP101 provision module. Leon joined EquiTrust Life Insurance Company in 2018 as the Head of Corporate Tax Department.

Leon Sloutski has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University. Leon also holds a Master of Science in Taxation degree from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business, with a focus on Tax Law/Taxation. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Corptax Certified Professional and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
