John Backer

John Backer, MIS, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product innovation, real estate, and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Product Innovation at Equitus.ai since March 2024, John has also been a Licensed Realtor at eXp Realty since September 2018, utilizing over 30 years of technology expertise to enhance client services. Prior to these roles, John was the Director of Business Development & Client Success at Zinatt Technologies Inc. and held various technical positions at IBM, where contributions included utilizing visual analytics solutions to combat terrorism and fraud. Earlier career highlights include roles in real estate and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Wayland Baptist University, where John taught information technology courses. John holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum University.
