WHAT WE OFFER

Equity Exploration is a fast-growing consulting company with deep roots and broad experience in the mineral exploration community in Canada and the US. On behalf of our clients, we managed over 30 different exploration projects in 2023, focusing on a range of base and precious metal deposit types. Our projects spanned the mineral discovery life-cycle: from early-stage, greenfields surface projects to significant resource definition drilling programs in support of large-scale mining operations.

We know there can be many job opportunities for Geologists. So, it’s only sensible to ask what’s the advantage to working with Equity? Since 1987, we have approached our work with fairness and honesty (our company name is no coincidence…) and a big part of this culture is actively mentoring and training for our team members. So, we asked some of our current, earlier-career Project and Senior Project Geologists what they appreciate about Equity and promptly received this list:

  • Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility (and it being recognized when it is deserved)
  • Competitive wage/salary that also matches increased responsibility
  • Plenty of opportunities for Professional Development
  • Mentorship from a strong and experienced team
  • Team-oriented work environment
  • A team of people that like and enjoy working with and hanging out with each other
  • Strong culture
  • Opportunity for a dynamic career providing its employees a chance to work on several different projects at different stages of mineral exploration from greenfields to active mine sites
  • Good work-life balance

We hire Geologists and Assistant Geologists to collect geological data which forms the backbone of exploration decision-making. Geologists support our project leaders as they oversee geologically and logistically complex projects. We believe in actively mentoring and supporting our geological team members so they can build their skillsets and careers and ultimately take on more responsibility.
