Expression Of Interest To Join Equity Team

Piedmont, Italy

Job description

If you’re an adaptable, team player looking to extend your skills in mineral exploration, we want to hear from you.

Equity Exploration is a fast-growing consulting company with deep roots and broad experience in the mineral exploration community in Canada and the USA.  Our projects span the mineral discovery life-cycle: from early-stage, greenfields surface projects to significant resource definition drilling programs in support of large-scale mining operations.

Since 1987, we have approached our work with fairness and honesty (our company name is no coincidence…) and a big part of this culture is actively mentoring and training our team members.  At Equity we value teamwork, adaptability and integrity and strive to provide a safe and enjoyable work environment.

Most of our exploration work takes place over spring. summer and fall in Canada and the USA, but we are increasingly involved in winter projects that extend our season.

Work in remote field camps is typical, with rotations of up to 28 days.  Most positions require a certain level of physical fitness. Successful candidates are expected to be able to be able to lift 50 lbs and traverse uneven terrain. If you are unable to meet the physical requirements, you are still encouraged to apply and Equity will consider whether it can accommodate any physical limitations.

Respect of health and safety requirements is essential.

We invite expressions of interest for the following positions:

  • Project Geologist: Team leaders in project planning, in-field management and synthesis of project data.

  • Geologist: Geoscientists focused on safe and efficient program execution and data collection.

  • Assistant Geologist: Undergraduates and new graduates supporting our geological teams in program execution and data collection.

  • Project Coordinator: Team leaders in the planning, set-up and execution of field projects.

  • Exploration Assistant: Non-geologists with an interest in mineral exploration supporting our geological teams in program execution and data collection.

  • Camp Construction and/or Maintenance: Includes Camp Builders, Camp Managers and Site Service personnel comfortable working in remote field camps.

  • Camp Catering: Includes Head Cooks, Assistant Cooks, Bull Cooks and Kitchen Helpers comfortable working in remote field camps.

Please indicate the position that interests you in your application.

We look forward to hearing from you!
