Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd., a mineral exploration service and consulting company headquartered in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a full time, permanent Human Resources Coordinator to support our business and project leaders. We work in a fast-paced and nimble environment so flexibly and adaptability are critical to succeed in this role. Our HR Coordinator needs to be collaborative and supportive and maintain a focus on developing our people. Although located in Vancouver, you will support a distributed team of project leaders and employees from across Canada. You will report directly to the President.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate the recruitment process from scoping hiring requirements with project leaders to marketing open roles, arranging/participating in interviews, liaising with candidates and extending offers
Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process by communicating with support teams (Finance, Payroll, IT, Onboarding etc.) to ensure employees are prepared for corresponding activities
Maintain/build relationships with local job providers in remote communities (note: some travel will be required)
Assist with recruitment of international candidates
Monitor/optimize schedules of seasonal contract staff to ensure projects are fully staffed and there is a seamless transition of resources from project to project when required
Own the roll-out of annual employee engagement surveys, support the data analysis, deliver results and create action plans
Manage HR processes (e.g., performance management, onboarding/off-boarding, benefits, monthly people-related reporting etc.) and take ownership of our HRIS
Assist with additional projects and tasks as requested by the leadership team
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 1-3 years relevant work experience; HR or Business Degree/Diploma considered a bonus

Salary range of $61k to $65k with annual variable compensation of 10%+

Requirement for intermittent travel to remote sites to participate in and understand our work environments
Hybrid work arrangements considered, but relationship and culture building will require significant time in our Vancouver office
