Leigh Van Drecht

Leigh van Drecht is a skilled geologist and data specialist with extensive experience in exploration geology and data management. Currently at Equity Exploration since March 2022, Leigh has previously held roles including Project Geologist at Talisker Resources Ltd., where responsibilities included managing diamond drill programs at the historic Bralorne Gold Mine. Leigh's career has encompassed positions such as Exploration Geologist at Husky Energy, Senior Field Assistant with the Government of Yukon, and various roles at Dalhousie University and Memorial University, focusing on both fieldwork and teaching assistance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geological and Earth Sciences from Dalhousie University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Earth Sciences from Memorial University, complemented by a recent certification in Data Analytics from BrainStation.
