Sean A. Klemme

Engineer II at Equity Engineering Group

Mr. Klemme joined E2G | The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. in 2018 in the Process Technologies Team and now belongs to the Applied Research & Development Team. His work with E2G includes projects spanning risk-based inspection (RBI), corrosion analysis, mechanical integrity, and web tool development. He has developed systems and circuits for RBI analysis in complex systems. Additionally, Mr. Klemme has worked to develop a model for hydrogen diffusion in a wet H2S environment for implementation in a web tool for hydrogen bake-out methodology. He has analyzed heat exchanger tube rupture potential and made recommendations for changes to exchanger systems.

Mr. Klemme is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and has attended API Refining and Equipment Standards meetings in the Subcommittee on Heat Transfer Equipment. He has internship experience in both manufacturing and laboratory settings. His projects at Swagelok Company related to upgrading manufacturing equipment and machining processes, as well as documentation of the processes. At Sherwin-Williams, he formulated and tested the material properties of thermoplastic for road applications.
