Lael Garner-Weadock

Lael Garner-Weadock has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Lael is currently working as the Senior Director of Learning & Development at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. In their previous role as the Director of Training and Development at Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Lael strategically designed and executed learning and development programs for 23 hotels and 4 independent restaurants, resulting in significant improvements in guest service scores. Lael also has experience in the food industry, where they served as the National Field Training Manager at Noodles & Company, overseeing the development and implementation of training strategies to enhance operational effectiveness. Earlier in their career, Lael worked as a Franchise Business Leader at Burger King Corporation, where they managed 11 franchise accounts and provided solutions for increased market share and sales. Lael also held positions at Magid Glove & Safety, where they supervised a call center and managed customer service representatives, and at Hyatt Regency Chicago, where they coordinated training programs and facilitated the hiring process. Overall, Lael has demonstrated expertise in learning and development, operational improvement, and team management.

Lael Garner-Weadock received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in 1998. Later, in 2007, they completed a Master's of Arts degree in Adult Learning and Employee Relations, also at DePaul University.
