James M.

James M. has a strong background in compliance and mortgage lending. James started their career at CitiFinancial as a Branch Manager in 1993 and later transitioned to the role of Compliance Trainer, providing on-site and remote training to branch employees. James joined Crescent Mortgage as an Assistant Vice President - Compliance in 2012, where they developed and administered training programs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. In 2015, James M. became the Chief Compliance Officer at EPM, where they identified and implemented methods to maintain compliance and recommended changes to existing programs. James also supported the CEO and COO in developing and implementing an effective regulatory risk framework. Overall, James M. has extensive experience in compliance and mortgage lending, with a focus on developing training programs and maintaining regulatory compliance.

James M. earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia, where they attended from 1990 to 1992. Additionally, in December 2020, they became a Mortgage Action Alliance Member through the Mortgage Bankers Association.
