Director of Talent Acquisition at EQUITY PROJECT CHARTER SCHOOL (THE)

Simone Teitelbaum has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

From 2019 to the present, Simone worked at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School, starting as a Talent Acquisition and Student Enrichment Specialist and later transitioning to the role of Talent Acquisition and Student Enrichment Manager. Currently, Simone holds the position of Director of Talent Acquisition. TEP Charter School is known for prioritizing teacher quality and educational equity for disadvantaged students.

Prior to joining TEP, Simone worked at Learn Easy System from 2016 to 2019 as an English Language Instructor. In this role, they provided on-site English language instruction to international corporations in Buenos Aires, Argentina, tailoring lessons to their specific business needs.

Simone also worked as a Private English Language Teacher at Simone Teitelbaum Tutoring from 2016 to 2019, offering personalized English language instruction.

Earlier in their career, Simone worked as a Research Facilitator for the Infant Mindless Feeding Study at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2015 to 2016. Simone recruited participants and assisted with data collection for the study, which focused on maternal distraction during feeding.

Simone also served as a Field Ambassador for the Alumni Discovery Project at Cal Poly from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they conducted interviews with alumni to gather feedback and identify trends for strategic planning purposes.

Additionally, Simone interned at Midtown Integrative Health and Wellness in 2015, shadowing practitioners and assisting with patient intake and administrative tasks.

Before that, they worked as a Secretary at Mission Chiropractic from 2009 to 2012.

Simone has demonstrated a strong background in education, language instruction, research facilitation, and administrative support throughout their work experience.

Simone Teitelbaum acquired a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Furthermore, they obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certification from Ibero TEFL in December 2016.
