Victoria Lau

Victoria Lau has a diverse work experience in the field of tax and technology audit. Victoria started their career at Coopers & Lybrand in Vancouver, Canada, where they worked as a Supervisor in Assurance from 1987 to 1990. Victoria then moved to London, UK, and worked as a Manager in Computer Assurance from 1990 to 1994. In 1994, they joined Coopers & Lybrand in Singapore as a Group Manager in Computer Assurance until 1995.

In 1996, Victoria joined JP Morgan in Asia Pacific as a VP of Technology Audit, where they worked until 1997. After that, they worked at Global Tax Network as a Tax Professional from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Equus Software as a Tax Product Manager for Expat4Cast.

Victoria continued their career at Equus Software and held different positions, including Director of Tax from 2013 to 2019. Currently, they are the VP of Tax Solutions at Equus Software, a role they have held since 2020.

Victoria Lau completed their Master of Science in Taxation from San Jose State University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Management Information System from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 1981 to 1987. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant certified by the State of Illinois, which they obtained in April 2008. Victoria Lau is also a Chartered Accountant certified by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, which they achieved in September 1990.
