DongJae Kim's work experience begins in 2015 at McGill University, where they served as a Senior Year Representative and also worked as a Research Assistant in Structural/Chemical Biology. During their time at McGill, they organized events and symposiums related to biochemistry research.

DongJae Kim completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Computer Science at McGill University from 2013 to 2017. DongJae later pursued further education at Concordia University, where they worked on their Doctoral thesis in Software Engineering and Computer Science from 2019 to 2022.
