DongJae Kim

DongJae Kim's work experience begins in 2015 at McGill University, where they served as a Senior Year Representative and also worked as a Research Assistant in Structural/Chemical Biology. During their time at McGill, they organized events and symposiums related to biochemistry research.

In 2018, DongJae joined Web on Demand as a Front End Developer, where they implemented various features, such as a CMS text and color switcher using Javascript and a python script to detect impacted files from modified CSS code. Additionally, they pursued their hobby as a developer at DJae.io, creating websites for biologists/chemists.

In 2021, DongJae joined ERA Environmental Management Solutions as an Embedded Researcher. In this role, they developed customer product usage anomaly detection and UI integration. DongJae also worked on customer behavior forecasting using unsupervised deep learning. Currently, they are focused on developing a strategy for anomaly validation in B2B software with highly variable end user data.

Also in 2021, they worked at Ericsson Software as a Lecturer/Technical Specialist for Ericsson Training. DongJae provided training on applied AI for Ericsson telecommunications engineers and technicians, including tutorials on unsupervised learning algorithms and technical support for project clinics.

DongJae Kim completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry & Computer Science at McGill University from 2013 to 2017. DongJae later pursued further education at Concordia University, where they worked on their Doctoral thesis in Software Engineering and Computer Science from 2019 to 2022.
