David Fernandez Rivas

David Fernandez Rivas is currently a Guest Professor at Erasmus MC, focusing on novel drug delivery technologies, and an author for De Gruyter. Since August 2007, David has held various academic positions at the University of Twente, progressing from PhD student to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and now Professor, while also serving as a Research Affiliate at MIT. David is the CEO Founder of InkBeams and serves as the Principal Investigator for BµBclean, a high-tech spin-off from the University of Twente that specializes in advanced ultrasound cleaning technologies. Additionally, David is an Editorial Board Member for Elsevier's Ultrasonics Sonochemistry journal and has experience as a Guest Professor at EPFL. David's educational background includes a PhD from the University of Twente and degrees in Nuclear Engineering from InSTEC, alongside brief education at TU Dortmund University and Lenin.
