George Karlis

George Karlis is an experienced medical professional specializing in intensive care and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Currently serving as an ICU Consultant at Thoracic Diseases General Hospital Sotiria since December 2020, George has also been an instructor with the ERC European Resuscitation Council since April 2009 and a board member of the Hellenic Society of Intensive Care Medicine from December 2021 to March 2024. George's previous roles include a consultant position in the Emergency Department at Sismanoglio General Hospital and ICU Consultant at General Hospital of Rhodes. With extensive training as an ICU Fellow at the University of Athens and experience as a resident in Internal Medicine, George's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, alongside an MD from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
