Mark Dawes

European Trauma Course Instructor at ERC European Resuscitation Council

Mark Dawes is an experienced healthcare professional serving as the Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Emergency Medicine at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust since February 2012. In addition to this role, Mark is an examiner for the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care and the Diploma in Urgent Medical Care at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Mark contributes to the Faculty of Prehospital Care Nursing Committee and serves as an Instructor for the European Trauma Course with the ERC European Resuscitation Council. Other notable roles include being a steering group member for the National Major Trauma Nurse Education Group, a board member of the Mercian Accident Rescue Service, and Crowded Medical Officer for Birmingham City FC and Walsall Football Club. Mark has also previously held the position of Crowd Medical Officer at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham and was an Immediate Care Practitioner with Mercian Accident & Rescue Service - BASICS, providing pre-hospital emergency medical support.
