Shrirang Abhyankar

Shrirang Abhyankar is currently serving as the Grid Transformation Principal at ERCOT since August 2025. Prior to this role, Shrirang held various positions at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from January 2019 to August 2025, including Team Lead for Advanced Computing and Senior Scientist. Shrirang’s experience at Argonne National Laboratory spanned from September 2009 to January 2019, where roles included Power Systems Scientist, Staff Scientist, Post-Doctoral Appointee, and Technical Co-op. Additionally, Shrirang worked as a Contractor at ComEd from February 2015 to February 2016. Shrirang earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2011, following a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2006.
