Hazel Mulhare is a Partner at Erevena, a company that specializes in turning world-beating science into the next generation of world-leading companies.

Previously, Hazel was the Principal and Head of Talent at Oxford Sciences Innovation, where they were responsible for searching Oxford's Maths, Physical, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Computer Sciences and Engineering divisions for ideas with world changing potential.

During their time at Oxford Sciences Innovation, Hazel raised over £600M to invest in the companies that bring these ideas to the world. Hazel also partnered early and for the long-term because they understand that it takes time to turn disruptive science into an enduring business.

Hazel knows that spinouts need more than capital to succeed. Hazel combines their deep experience building successful businesses with their network of investors, entrepreneurs, industrialists, and experts from Silicon Valley to Shanghai to offer advice, experience, relationships and hands-on support.

Hazel has a long-term partnership with the University of Oxford in order to create an ecosystem where spinouts can succeed.

Hazel Mulhare achieved a 2.1 in their M.A from Trinity College Dublin and a Honours in their Leaving Certificate from Wesley College.
