Alessandro Arena

Alessandro Arena has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alessandro started their career in 1997 as a Business Unit Controller at Ericsson, where they worked until 2001. In 2002, they joined Hays Sodibelco as a Responsabile Controllo di Gestione for a brief period of six months before moving to Alliance Healthcare as a Responsabile Reporting until 2004. Alessandro then joined ERG SpA in 2004 as a Group Controller, overseeing financial activities until 2013. During their time at ERG SpA, they held various positions including Internal Auditor, where they conducted financial and operational audits, identified key issues and risks, and proposed recommendations for improvement. Alessandro also played a role in compliance activities, implementing organizational models and analyzing information flows for reporting purposes. In November 2020, Alessandro took on the role of Head of Administration & Finance UK at ERG SpA.

Alessandro Arena completed a Percorso Executive in Energy Management at MIP Politecnico di Milano from 2019 to 2020. Alessandro pursued a Specializzazione in Finanza e Controllo di Gestione at Sapim Management from 1997 to 1998. Additionally, Alessandro attended Liceo Scientifico from 1985 to 1990. Alessandro has also obtained several certifications, including CK-01G Auditor/Lead Auditor Sistemi di Gestione: Metodologia di Audit (qualificato AICQ-SICEV) from RINA in January 2020, CS-03G Auditor/Lead Auditor Sistemi di Gestione per la Sicurezza e Salute sul luogo di Lavoro - ISO 45001:2018 (qualificato AICQ_SICEV) from RINA in January 2020, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2018, and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in November 2016.
