Matteo Parodi

Matteo Parodi has held various roles in the field of Energy Management. Matteo started their career in 2011 as a Software Tester and Developer at Gesco-Demont. In 2013, they moved to ERG SpA where they worked in the Middle Office, monitoring and analyzing the Italian electricity market. Matteo then transitioned to Asset & Bidding Optimization, managing and optimizing power flows within an industrial park. From 2014 to 2016, Matteo worked in Short Term Analysis, focusing on price forecasting and bidding strategies. Matteo was later promoted to Head of Short Term Analysis, where they were responsible for optimizing the power and gas portfolios. In 2018, Matteo became the Co-Founder of Don Quique Padel Imperia, a company focused on padel sports. Currently, they serve as the Head of Trading - Energy Management at ERG SpA, where they lead a team in maximizing portfolio returns and managing risks.

Matteo Parodi completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Engineering at the University of Genoa. Matteo pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management Engineering with an Energy Option from the same university. Additionally, Matteo received certifications in "Humane Productivity: Burnout Proof Your Performance" from LinkedIn and an EEX trader license from the European Energy Exchange AG.
