Valdis Balcers

Valdis Balcers has extensive experience in the insurance and space technology sectors, currently serving as a reinsurance manager at ERGO Latvia since November 2006. Valdis contributed as an outsourced expert for NK Konsultāciju Birojs in 2013 by developing the "Strategy for the Development of the Latvian Space Technologies" for the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia. Previous roles include debtor controller at ESD, accountant at CBR-4, Ltd and Msa Motors Rga, Ltd, and insurance agent at Balta AAS. Valdis holds numerous honorary certificates and accomplishments from prestigious institutions, including a focus on aerospace engineering, political science, and planetary astronomy from universities such as EPFL, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford.
