Gary Gillen

Gary Gillen has extensive experience in cloud engineering and data protection, currently serving as a Senior Solution Architect in Cyber Recovery and Data Protection at Ergo since November 2024. Previously, Gary held various roles at Strencom, including Solutions Architect, where responsibilities involved mapping customer business requirements to technical solutions, and Technical Consultant focused on disaster recovery and data management. Gary's career also includes roles at DigitalWell and Welltel as a Level 3 Cloud Engineer, and at Storage Online as a Backup and Recovery Specialist. Early experience includes IT support at the Health Service Executive, managing backup and security infrastructures. Gary holds a National Certificate in Computing from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
