Thomas Portele

Thomas Portele, PhD, is a seasoned professional in project management and clinical operations, currently serving as Vice President of the Project Management Office at ERGOMED since January 2014. With a robust background at ICON plc from 2002 to 2013, Thomas held various leadership roles, including Project Management Director and Associate Director of Clinical Operations, where responsibilities included coordination of multinational studies and development of project plans in compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines. Previous experience includes roles as Clinical Research Associate and Post Doc in prestigious institutions, coupled with strong educational credentials, including a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Diploma in Oncology from the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine.
