Elena Fersman

Elena Fersman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and automation. Currently serving as the VP and Head of Global AI Accelerator at Ericsson, as well as the Head of the Ericsson Silicon Valley Site, Elena has also held the position of Director of Artificial Intelligence Research. In addition to industry roles, Elena is a Fellow at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and an Adjunct Professor in Cyber-Physical Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Furthermore, Elena is a member of the Board of Directors at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and has experience as a Product Manager at Ericsson IPX. Elena holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University and a Docent degree in Cyber-Physical Systems specialized in Automation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
