Jay Shaffer

Jay Shaffer, CFA, CAIA has over 15 years of work experience at Erie Insurance Group. Jay started as an Investment Intern in 2005 and then worked their way up to roles such as Senior External Investment Analyst, Portfolio Manager for External Investments, and finally Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income. Jay has been with Erie Insurance Group since 2005 and is currently serving in their role as Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income.

Jay Shaffer, CFA, CAIA received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Carolina in 2006. In 2012, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Additionally, in 2019, they became a CAIA Charterholder through the CAIA Association.
