Misty Chambers

Misty Chambers is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in embedded software and systems development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Erie Insurance Group since July 2020, Misty has previously held positions as a Technical Leader at Wabtec Corporation and Lead Software Engineer at GE Transportation. Over the years, Misty has been instrumental in developing software for various applications, including modem hardware abstraction layers for Software Defined Radios, location tracking systems for positive train control, and embedded Ethernet software for factory automation devices. Misty began the professional journey at GE Fanuc and has a solid educational foundation with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from James Madison University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
