Berry Konijn

Product Development Engineer at ERIKS Nederland

Berry Konijn has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Berry started in 2015 as a Mechanisch Ontwerper at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where they worked on an innovation project designing a module to warn cyclists of approaching traffic. In 2016, they joined Bercomex bv as a Mechanisch Ontwerper and optimized a component in a flower processing line. Berry then completed an internship as a Stagiair Werktuigbouwkunde at Hektec, where they developed solutions for engineering problems. Berry also worked as a Junior Project Engineer and later as a Stagiair Project Engineer at Advantage Composite BV, assisting with the production and installation of composite panels. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Productiemedewerker at Kluster Interieurbouw. In 2018, Berry joined ERIKS Nederland as a Process Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Product Development Engineer.

Berry Konijn completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering, Design and Innovation from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, Berry attended Jan van Egmond lyceum, PSG Purmerend from 2009 to 2014 and obtained their HAVO degree in Natuur en Techniek. In addition to their formal education, Berry also obtained certifications in SolidWorks Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in October 2017, and VOL-VCA certification from VCANederland in June 2016.
