Erin Lillis Kent

Founder of EKC and Literacy Consultant for International Schools at Erin Kent Consulting (EKC)

Erin Lillis Kent has over 20 years of work experience, with a focus on literacy education. Erin founded Erin Kent Consulting, which provides consultancy services to international schools and has presented at several literacy conferences globally. Prior to founding their organization, Kent worked as a Literacy Coach and P-12 Director of Curriculum and Assessment at Concordia International School Shanghai where they oversaw the WASC accreditation process and led strategic plans, as well as managed a team of instructional specialists. Kent had also worked as a teacher and coordinator at various schools in Chile and the U.S. before their consultancy work.

Erin Lillis Kent obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a Program of Liberal Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. Erin then continued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Elementary Education and Teaching as well as ESOL certification between 2000 and 2002.
