Lindsay DeHartchuck

Lindsay DeHartchuck has extensive experience in the education field, starting as a Special Education Teacher in the District of Columbia Public Schools from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they achieved significant academic growth with their students and was selected to represent their peers as part of Chancellor Kaya Henderson's Teachers' Cabinet.

Following this role, Lindsay served as an Effectiveness Coach at TNTP from 2012 to 2013, where they coached over 30 first-year teachers in Chicago Public Schools and launched TNTP's alternative certification program in Illinois. Lindsay also managed the TNTP Pre-Service Training Institute during this time.

In 2017, Lindsay founded their own consulting company called DeHartchuck Consulting, where they collaborated with school districts, state departments of education, and mission-driven non-profits on various strategic initiatives, particularly in the areas of literacy, special education, and professional learning. Their clients included organizations such as the National Center for Learning Disabilities, Understood, and the Texas Education Agency.

Lindsay's next role was with KIPP Texas Public Schools from 2019 to 2021. As the Director of Operations, they played a key role in launching an initiative across 55 schools to ensure effective educational programming for students with exceptional needs. Lindsay also served as the Senior Director of Special Education, managing a team of regional leaders and focusing on instructional leadership and rigorous academic programming.

From 2020 to 2022, Lindsay worked at TNTP again, this time as a Director. Lindsay contributed to the organization's overall mission and goals during their tenure.
