Thomas Laussermair

Thomas Laussermair has worked in various positions in the technology industry since 2002. Thomas began their career as a .NET Development Manager at Microsoft Business Solution in 2002. Thomas then moved to Citrix Systems, Inc. in 2005, where they held positions as Director Product Services and Sr. Development Manager. In 2009, Laussermair embarked on an adventure to cycle from Alaska to Patagonia and climb the highest mountain of every country along the way. Thomas documented their journey on a personal blog and published a book about it in 2012. Laussermair then held positions at Acquinity Interactive, ParTech, Inc., Rennova Health, and Visualign Consulting Corp. before joining ERP Maestro, Inc. as SW Development Manager in 2020. In 2021, ERP Maestro, Inc. was acquired by SailPoint and Laussermair became the Sr. Software Engineering Manager for the Access Risk Management (ARM) unit, managing development and test across multiple geos.

Thomas Laussermair completed their MS and Ph.D in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (minor) from the Technical University of Munich between 1982 and 1986. Thomas has since obtained a number of certifications, including Advanced Microsoft Power BI from LinkedIn in April 2019, Excel Business Intelligence Part 1: Power Query, Excel Business Intelligence Part 2: Data Modeling 101, and Excel Business Intelligence Part 3: Power Pivot and DAX from LinkedIn in March 2019, EMC Proven Professional (EMCISA) from EMC in April 2011, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in February 2006, Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) from Citrix Systems, Inc. in February 2005, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in December 2004, and Mathematica 10 Advanced Analysis from lynda.com in October 2015.
