Sebastian Ullrich

Sebastian Ullrich is a seasoned professional in software development and project management, currently serving as Senior Manager SW Development and Scrum Master at Surgical Science since July 2019. Previously, Sebastian held roles as Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master. In addition, Sebastian is a representative for Japonte Ltd. in Germany since December 2017 and has worked as an Independent Technical Consultant for SenseGraphics, focusing on physics-based soft tissue simulation for medical simulation projects from July 2011 to June 2019. Prior experience includes a research assistant position at RWTH Aachen, where Sebastian led medical simulation projects and managed an interdisciplinary team, along with roles as a programming assistant and teaching assistant. As a visiting researcher at the National Institute of Informatics, Sebastian developed the Global Lab collaboration platform. Sebastian holds a Ph.D. and a Diploma in Computer Sciences from RWTH Aachen University.
