Sam Jones

Sam Jones has extensive experience in software development, primarily in embedded systems and software engineering. Currently serving as SW Development Manager and previously as an Embedded Software Engineer at Kalray since July 2011, projects include compiler and runtime development for a parallel dataflow language and hypervisor development for the MPPA256 architecture. Prior experience includes a Masters Project Internship at Verimag focusing on the parallelization of the SystemC SoC simulation language, and summer positions at the European Radiation Synchrotron Facility, which involved bug fixes for the ISPyB crystal management system and web development using J2EE. Early career experience includes first-line support at SurfControl with a focus on SMTP and DNS troubleshooting. Sam Jones holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université Joseph Fourier and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Bath.
