Paul Ionescu

Paul Ionescu has over 25 years of experience in credit risk management and corporate banking. Since January 2011, Paul has served as the Head of Credit Underwriting Corporates at Erste Group Bank AG, where responsibilities include leading a team within the Corporate Risk Management Department. Prior to this, Paul held various positions at UniCredit Bank Austria AG from April 2001 to December 2010, including Senior Relationship Manager and Head of Team in the Multinational Corporates Department. Earlier experience includes roles at Bank Austria Creditanstalt S.A. and Emcom, along with a solid academic background with a Master's degree and an Engineer's degree from Politehnica University Bucharest.
