Raphaël Azor-Smith

Raphaël Azor-Smith, CFA, currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Finance Solutions at Erste Group since February 2023. In addition, Raphaël is an LP Syndicate Investor at EUVC, actively investing in operator LP syndicates across Europe, with notable funds like Seedcamp Fund VI and Acrobator Fund I. Prior experience includes a fellowship in the Entrepreneurial Leadership Program at AustrianStartups, where Raphaël focused on developing startup skills and leadership. As Head of Finance at Russmedia, Raphaël oversaw financial operations for an international group with over EUR 200 million in assets under management. Previous roles at BDO Austria GmbH and Sberbank Europe AG involved financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and IFRS reporting. Raphaël began a career in finance as a Financial Auditor at Mazars, following internships with Strategy & Action International and Suez Environnement. Raphaël holds a Master's degree in Audit & Corporate Finance from EM Normandie Business School.
