Brendon Merkley

Brendon Merkley currently serves as Executive in Residence at Esade since September 2023 and has been Chief Operating Officer at GoodLeap LLC since October 2017. Previously, Brendon held the position of EVP of Customer Operations and Information Systems at SolarCity from December 2013 to September 2017 and served as Chief Operating Officer at Vivint Solar from May 2011 to November 2013, contributing to the development of one of the fastest growing residential solar providers. Additional roles include Director of Energy Management at APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc., Senior Manager at GreenRoad, Project Consultant at linkem in Rome, and Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Research and Fact-Checking at The White House and Assistant for Biotechnology at USDA. Brendon earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
