Joseph Varghese

Joseph Varghese has extensive work experience primarily in the banking industry. Joseph began their career at ESAF Microfinance and Investments Pvt. Ltd in 2005 as a Manager-MIS. Joseph then joined ESAF Bank in 2008, where they worked as Manager-Resource Mobilisation and later became Deputy Chief Manager-Resource Mobilisation until 2017. At ESAF Bank, they also held positions as Chief Manager-Treasury and Chief Manager: Corporate Banking. In 2020, Joseph joined ESAF Bank as Assistant to Vice President& Head-Corporate Business and is currently serving as Associate Vice President & Head-Financial Institutions Business. Throughout their career, Joseph has been responsible for maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions, exploring debt and equity mobilization possibilities, and actively participating in project proposal preparation and follow-up.

Joseph Varghese earned a Master of Finance and Control degree with a specialization in Finance and Management from Bharathiar University between 2001 and 2003.
